During the course of their four years in high school students must complete and document, through HandsOn Battle Creek, 400 hours of community service and engagement. They also must write a reflection of their experiences explaining how their involvement has impacted their community and their life. If these requirements are complete, upon graduation from high school students will be awarded a certificate, a medallion to be worn at graduation, and a $500 scholarship to apply toward higher education or training.
